Chieftains’ Procession 2022
Please be advised of the following arrangements for past Chieftains, Tartan Queens and Committee Members from 2010+
The procession will depart at 11:15 prompt from the grassed area at Eastwood Drive. Those wishing to walk within the procession are asked to muster by 11:00 latest at that location, and be prepared to depart at 11:15. There will be separate marked sections of the procession for you to gather in.
Alternatively, you can choose to walk in the procession from Gardiners Factory entrance at Turfholm, with a muster time there of 11:20, and departure time of 11:40 prompt.
Those who have requested transport for the procession will be contacted individually before Friday 17th to confirm pick up time and addresses. You can then proceed within the procession by car from the Eastwood Drive starting point.
There will be a hospitality section adjacent to the beer tent & beer garden where past Chieftains, Tartan Queens & Committee members may pick up a drink and box containing a light snack. No tickets will be required for this - simply turn up and your name will be ticked off on our list.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HOSPITALITY SNACKS & DRINKS WILL BE ISSUED BETWEEN THE END OF THE CROWNING AND 1:30pm
The committee thank you in advance for your participation in the procession, which will hopefully bring back some happy memories of a sunny day in June of yesteryear!
